Bonjour ! :slight_smile:



Je viens de créer un master XP, puis un vDisk, puis un target device auquel j’ai ajouté la MAC du XP.



Jusque là tout va bien ! :angel:



Ensuite dans mon XP j’ai installé le client PVS XenConvert, mais quand je le lance pour remplir mon vDisk il ne veut pas :’(



A savoir que l’icône en bas à droite de l’écran représentant le disque virtuel est inactif et je ne vois pas comment l’activer et si le problème vient de là… ???

Apres l’install du client pvs, tu reboot bien ton XP en PXE ? Donc tu as bien un disque en plus sous windows.

Est-ce que ton poste est bien en DHCP ?

Est-ce que tu as bien ajouté les option 66 et 67 à ton DHCP ?

Dans PVS, Il faut que tu définisses la machine en mode boot local hard drive disk.



La doc est très détaillé à ce sujet.

Ah en effet j’ai voulu aller plus vite que la musique ;D



Je me souvient avoir vu une option PXE durant l’install d’un logiciel mais je sais plus lequel et je crois que je l’ai pas configuré…



Savez-vous si je peux l’ajouter sans être obligé de tout réinstaller ?

Correction, c’est bon le PXE est lancé ! :slight_smile:



Je suis entrain de remplir le vDisk avec XenConvert, mais un message apparaît concernant un problème de licence et me dit que la machine s’éteindra au bout de 5 minutes :-[



L’histoire des licences c’est un sacré bordel !! :’(

Après avoir supprimé et recréé mon vDisk ça fonctionne pour le remplissage !



J’ai installé le XD Setup Wizard et fait le lien entre les différents éléments, mais en lancement de mes VM j’ai un beau “NTLDR manque” !



Donc, est-ce qu’il faut remplir le vdisk avant de lancer ce setup Wizard ou est-ce qu’il le fait tout seul ?



Si quelqu’un connait cette erreur je suis preneur.

j’ai pas le souvenir d’avoir rempli le vdisk avant moi… mais bon mon expérience en PVS est super limitée

Du genre antivirus multi boot etc ?

Donc non il n’y a pas d’antivirus, pas de pare-feu, juste XP SP3, acrobat reader et les différents plugin de XD…



C’est quelque chose que je découvre donc c’est possible que je sois passé à côté d’un truc ! :-[

Depuis une image en PXE de l’entreprise ou je suis en stage, et via le XenCenter…

Tu pourrais peut être nous faire suivre le log XenConvert.txt de mémoire.



J’imagine que tu n’as pas d’autre cas pour tester .



Quelle version de converter utilises tu ?

XenConvert 2.0, avec lequel j’ai rempli mon vDisk depuis mon image XP, ensuite j’ai lancé le XD Setup Wizard pour approvisionner mon XenServer…

Ne présage rien de bon, s’il ne va pas chercher le boot.ini du master.

Je pense que tu as bien installé la totalité des composants.



Essaies de reprendre les problèmes et leur solutions qui sont survenus lors de ta première install.



Rien ne t’empêche de re tester avec ton xp tout beau tout propre avant de tout refaire.



C’est rare que tout marche du premier coup, ca permet de comprendre.



Avec la doc de XenConvert tu dois pouvoir t’en tirer.



Enfin compare les logs entre une install qui roule et une qui est bancale

Un truc me vient à l’idée et ça me paraît bizarre ! Lorsque j’ai lancé XenConvert j’étais dans la VM, mais c’est pas ça qui m’a tout planté ? ???

Je dirais qu’il n’y a qu’une façon de le savoir.



Tester, ca peut être ca effectivement.

Je viens de refaire une VM, un nouveau vdisk, sans créer de Target Device et sans me servir de XenConvert, Le setup Wizard fait tout mais toujours le même problème…



Mes VM doivent pointer vers Le vdisk au boot ?



“NTLDR Manque”, je dois pas être bien loin ! ;D
