Installation ended prematurely because of an error
Je tente de mettre à jour un serveur en ayant desisntallé une version CPS4.0 (upgrade d’une CPS3.0 si mes souvenirs sont bons)
Entre les 2 operations j’ai mis à jour le SP2 windows 2003 + les patches MS.
J’ai desintallé tous les composants Citrix, mais lorsque je veux installer mes sources Xenapp 4.5, j’ai le message suivant:
“Installation ended prematurely because of an error” puis l’install s’arrete.
J’ai trouvé plusieurs articles mais rien n’y fait…
1- Mon serveur n’est pas un DC:

3- J’ai fait une install
msiexec /i “MPS.msi” /l*v C:MSI.log
J’ai trouvé ça dans le log :

Je suis bien en English, j’ai de place sur C:, et je suis Admin.
4- J’ai supprimé quelques clé de registre "Citrix"
5- J’ai essayé aussi "A problem may occur in the CTX_MF_SetDefaultLicenseServerToHostName function"

Le log dit 2 choses : un que tu n’as pas assez de place et deux, que tu tentes de faire une upgrade et il te demande de le desinstaller.

Cette technote est sur le force removal de xenapp http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX746354 C’est plus trivial que cela en a l’air.
j’ai enfin trouvé :o
C’etait un problème de .NET2.0 qui etait present mais surement un peu bancal suite aux maj sp2 et patches…
Je l’ai desinstallé, et du coup je n’arrivais plus à le reinstaller: Erreur 25015 à l’install .NET2.0
Du coup j’ai mis .NET3.5 et c’est ok
Il existe aussi un outil de cleaning .NET (dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip) pour remettre les choses en place.
